Vialect Enhances Intranet Software Suite

Vialect has announced the V5 release of IntraNET. The release includes both new applications and features that are designed to provide users with the ability to improve their collaboration and teamwork.

In V5, the new Data Manager application allows users to create custom Web forms that can be developed to capture data and provide an easy to use interface to manage the information. Applications for the Data Manager include expense reporting, task management, customer relationship management, and inventory control. V5 also includes Auto Notifications that allow you to create and send custom messages whenever new content has been added or changed in any application. Each action can be individually set to send a customized email to specified users. The notifying emails also contain a link back to the entry.

Other V5 enhancements include advanced search, set sections to show contents, tracking approval of documents, Windows XP style look and feel, and a new user interface for Document Manager. V5 is available in both a server license version and a hosted version (ASP) that can be rented on a monthly basis. CD and online demos are available from Vialect's Web site.
