Versaly Launches Mobile Download Web Site

Versaly Entertainment, a wireless new media company focused on creating, publishing, and distributing broad-based entertainment to mobile phones, has launched a new retail sales Web-to-phone service called 'ForFones'. Located at, ForFones will enable mobile phone users to download ringtones, wallpaper, and screensavers from their PC to their mobile phones over the wireless network. Content is organized by topics and includes titles such as: Star Trek; Pop, Urban, and Hip Hop ringtones; Jimi Hendrix; Stanley Mouse (artist on Grateful Dead album covers); wallpaper; extreme Sports images; and animals. ForFones will initially support mobile phones from Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Motorola, and Siemens. To purchase the content, ForFones allows payments to be made with PayPal or major credit cards. Payments made via mobile carriers' phone bills will be available over the next few months. In addition to its own Web site, the ForFones platform will provide hosting, co-branding, and distribution services for other companies who want to deliver mobile content, such as CNET Networks.
