Unity In Values (UIV), a provider of Christian mobile content, has launched The Mobile Word Video Community, a mobile user-generated video service. Available on The Mobile Word, a mobile channel targeted at Christian youth, the application gives consumers the opportunity to use technology to stay in touch with the community and effectively express and share their spiritual values. To kick start the application, Unity In Values has launched an initiative to collect video prayers for the troops, with the goal of one million video prayers by the end of June.

The Million Prayers for the Troops initiative allows Christian youth to tap into their creativity and express their support for friends and family and other American soldiers in the military. Subscribers from every major U.S. Mobile Phone Carrier can record their inspirational message or prayer on their video capable cell phone and send their video message from their phone to video@mobileword.mobi. Users without video phones can upload prayers from their computers at www.themobileword.com. Upon review, the submitted prayers will be available at www.themobileword.com and via wireless providers who carry The Mobile Word application. The Mobile Word Video Community supports virtually any mass market mobile phone, allowing a consumers to download and experience user-generated content on their device.

In addition to the Million Prayers for the Troops, users can submit Christian and other video clips in the music, comedy, entertainment, or inspiration category. Registered users of The Mobile Word website will be able to view their submissions as well as rate content submitted by their peers. A team of content experts from Unity In Values will review submissions to ensure each video meets Christian decency standards and award prizes to the best videos in each category. Furthermore, Unity In Values will donate $1,000 each month to a charity supporting the troops on behalf of the user who sends the top rated Prayer for the Troops. Unity In Values will not receive any revenues for the submission of Prayers for the Troops.
