UgcDb Launches User-Generated Content Database

May 25, 2007

UgcDb has announced a centralized repository of profile information for the people behind the scenes of user-generated content--whether it's videos, photos, podcasts, or blogs. The content is all cross-referenced designed for viewers to see who is in what and what else they have done. The profile information comes from user submissions and dedicated content editors who comb the web for interesting background information. The bios are written in a neutral point-of-view, but allow for users' personal comments and ratings. UgcDb brings together aspiring actors, directors, and content creators in an attempt to help legitimize and publicize their contributions and provide a mechanism for others to get started in the user-generated content space.
