TweetDeck, a popular third-party Twitter client, has been purchased by UberMedia-the owner of Echofon, Twidroyd, and UberTwitter, according to TechCrunch.
UberMedia, owned by Bill Gross, paid a reported $30 million for TweetDeck, the largest Twitter client outside of the Twitter framework. This puts approximately 20% of Tweets in the hands of UberMedia.
