Tridion, a European content management provider, is developing its channel strategy to offer its products, services, and solutions through targeted partners. Its channel approach will target specific vertical markets including but not limited to education, healthcare, and finance. The channel initiative is expected to bring in at least 50% of Tridion's business by year end. Resellers (appointed at two levels: Premier and Basic) will have access to the full Tridion product set at a discounted rate, along with training, professional services support, a partner extranet, and a pan-European sales force. Tridion will continue to develop business on a direct basis with targeted named accounts, but intends to increase the volume of software sales as a result of this channel strategy and implementation. The company also intends to refer business leads to resellers.
