Article ImageToday, comScore, Inc. released its monthly report on the top U.S. Web properties. The report is based on data from the comScore Media Matrix service. Google sites (which includes YouTube) remained the top U.S. web property with 184 million unique visitors for the month of September. Other sites with over 100 million unique visitors were Yahoo! Sites, Microsoft Sites, Facebook.com, AOL, Inc., and Amazon Sites.

Online gambling sites and education sites were among the top gaining categories of Web properties. Television properties were also boosted by the introduction of the fall TV lineups. Sites like ESPN and the NFL Internet Group saw big gains with the kickoff of the NFL season.
