Thomson Reuters today released a new version of EndNote for Windows, a bibliographic management and publishing solution used by millions of researchers, librarians, and students. EndNote X4 lets researchers import and search PDF files, as well as take advantage of new Cite While You Write features that automatically links in-text citations to Microsoft Word bibliographies. Footnote format is customizable based on several options.
EndNote X4 also features new collaboration functionality that lets users transfer up to 10,000 references between the web and desktop, as well as giving them the ability to search shared groups when selecting references to cite.
EndNote X4 is available for $299.95, or at a discounted rate of $115.95 for North American students with a valid student ID.
