Thomson Gale Acquires Roth Publishing Databases

Thomson Gale, part of The Thomson Corporation, has acquired the products of Roth Publishing, owner of the online electronic databases, PoemFinder and LitFinder.

PoemFinder features: 125,000 full-text poems; 850,000 additional cited and excerpted poems; Subject navigator, including keyword and author searching; Contemporary works; Poetry explanations, biographies, pictures, and glossary; andKid's Korner. PoemFinder is intended to fully represent significant periods in poetry, including Early English, Middle English, Elizabethan, Romantic, Victorian, 20th Century War Poetry, and Modernism.

The Thomson Gale acquisition of Roth Publishing also includes the LitFinder collection, which consists of: StoryFinder (a database of full-text short stories); PlayFinder (a database of complete plays); and SpeechFinder (a database of well-known speeches from the past 2,500 years).
