Interim results from the first half of 2011 reveal that the Financial Times increased its audience and attracted more paying subscribers across all channels. As of June 2011, customers that subscribe to FT.com increased by 34% and the total number of registered users for the site grew to more than 3.7 million. This increase in registered users reflects a 49% growth compared to 2010.
Content revenues for the Financial Times rose 11%, with digital content revenues growing by 32%. The newspaper's total paid-for circulation grew by 4%. The Financial Times Web App, which launched in June 2011, has accumulated more than 300,000 users.
