EOS International has announced that the Military Library at SHAPE (Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe) in Mons, Belgium has recently added two EOS WebOPAC systems to their existing EOS solution, which has also been upgraded. SHAPE is the headquarters of Allied Command Europe, one of NATO's two major commands.
The customizable EOS WebOPAC is now available on two separate networks, in an effort to enable SHAPE personnel to access library data from their desktops, and enhancing library access and services. EOS WebOPAC's point-and-click user interface is designed to allow Internet patrons to browse a library's catalog and offers a number of browseable indexes including: subject, title, author, series, subject, and title keywords, as well as other useful terms.
EOS International is a library information management software and services provider. EOS library automation software products (EOS.Web, EOS Q-Series, EOS GLAS, and hosted, EOS e-Library Services) are designed to serve the knowledge and content management needs of corporate, legal, medical, government, and special libraries.
