Feb 02, 2007

Skinkers, a provider of push technology, has raised £2 million ($3.9 million) from its current shareholders to fund the launch of the Skinkers Live Delivery Network, a peer-to-peer network to support live video streaming and real-time notifications. The majority of the funds have been provided by NewMedia SPARK, a London based venture capital firm. The company is using the new funds to bring to market the Skinkers Live Delivery Network, a private and secure peer-to-peer infrastructure designed to enable both businesses and consumers to receive digital feeds (text/audio/video) in real time to their desktops.
