Sisyph Software has announced the release of version 2.2 of ActiveRefresh, an application for Windows platforms that is designed to integrate the capabilities of a Web news reader and an advanced RSS aggregator. As an RSS aggregator, ActiveRefresh offers users a built-in blogging tool with a WYSIWYG editor, a collection of predefined feeds and a built-in browser.

The latest version of ActiveRefresh features include: Creating RSS-like channels for regular Web pages, blogs, local log files, and mail accounts; Built-in RSS aggregator with a blogging tool, a WYSIWYG editor, and a built-in browser; Notification of content updates and new/updated record marking; OPML format support for loading RSS channel lists from news content producers including MoreOver, NewsIsFree and others; and Complete product documentation.
