Silverchair and Wolters Kluwer Health, a division of global information services provider Wolters Kluwer, have signed a multi-year platform licensing and product development agreement to deploy Silverchair Content Manager (SCM), according to the two companies. The terms of the agreement will allow Wolters Kluwer Health to deliver its health-care information resources in medicine, nursing, and health professions through applications built on the SCM platform, which is currently in version 5.5.

The first product to launch on SCM will be The 5-Minute Clinical Consult, a next-generation point of care knowledge tool that will feature rapid access to diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for over 2000 medical conditions, along with patient education, videos of medical procedures and physical therapy, a drug database from Facts & Comparisons, and laboratory information from the new edition of Wallach's Interpretation of Diagnostic Tests.
