SilkRoad Debuts Enterprise Weblogging Application

SilkRoad technology, inc., a provider of enterprise-class content management and collaboration software, has announced the debut of SilkBlogs, an enterprise Weblogging solution. Built on Eprise, SilkBlogs is designed to provide a people-centric collaborative environment for sharing thoughts, ideas, information, and documents on the Web. The application allows organizations to develop and maintain enterprise-wide Weblogs to capture and disseminate within an organization tactical knowledge that is timely, searchable, and accessible from anywhere. Features of SilkBlogs include: advanced rich text editing; no HTML knowledge necessary; a robust and scalable security model built to manage and permission a large directory of users to blogs and its containing information; and integration to relevant and value-added business applications and tools. Andrew "Flip" Fillipowski, formerly of divine, inc., is the CEO of SilkRoad technologies; other former divine employees have also made the move to SilkRoad.
