A new piece of software, developed by a self-published author, is aiming to solve some of the problems face by the self-publishing community. My Publishing Assistant is a new suite of Cloud-based software that allows authors to quickly create ebooks with a customizable and professional appearance, as well as provides original tools to spur sales and reach the right audience. It was designed by Alex Anders, a self-published author, who understands the challenges firsthand.
All you need to get started is Google Chrome and a WordPress account. My Publishing Assistant can format text and create custom formats and layouts; output ePub, Mobi, Pdf, Doc, or HTML; output the formatted interior of paperback books ready to
be uploaded to a POD distributor; integrate professional-quality links to the ebook, paperback, hardcover and audiobook versions of their back catalog titles; create vendor specific books with direct links to their back catalog at each vendor; manage translations with an intuitive interface; create and brand a publishing company and publishing imprints; include photo galleries, video, and photos (while keeping the layout intact) in ebooks; create professional title pages with ISBN numbers, legal disclaimers, and other bibliographic data.
