iFactory and SAGE have begun an open beta of SAGE Research Methods Online (SRMO), a search and discovery application for researchers. The beta software is available for free to anyone registering for a trial, and more information can be accessed at http://srmo.sagepub.com.

iFactory reports that SRMO offers advanced research tools to those exploring the social and behavioral sciences, covering quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods. Some notable features of SRMO include access to more than 100,000 pages of SAGE's book and reference material; a visual map which allows users to more easily see the connections between more than 1,400 methods, theories, and terms; and the SRMO List function, which enables users to store and share content they select.
