Rocketinfo has announced the release of version 3.0 of Rocketinfo Desktop, a desktop search tool. Rocketinfo Desktop Version 3.0 is designed for finding, sharing, and managing news and business information. Rocketinfo Desktop is a downloadable application that is intended to facilitate the collection, categorization, and sharing of current information. It allows anyone to track current news, RSS, and weblog content, market research and books. Users can deliver relevant content to colleagues and friends.

The RSS module is preconfigured with thousands of RSS newsfeeds. Users can also create search-based RSS feeds or add their favorite syndicated content sources.
