Rio SEO, a SaaS-based software provider of SEO and social media marketing tools, unveiled a software upgrade that enables the integration of Facebook's Open Graph Markup into hyper-local website landing pages for multi-location businesses.
This local SEO upgrade integrates relevancy tags into the recently-launched Facebook Open Graph Search capability. Hyper-local, geographically-targeted markup is now a key component of the Rio SEO Local Search Optimizer tool. The tool allows for the integration of both Facebook Open Graph and Schema.org micro data into relevant local landing pages on a scalable level.
As a result, a high-volume, multi-location business or retailer can tag and optimize local landing page information (e.g., name, phone and address, map data), and then connect the data with Facebook Places pages through the "Parent Child" management process. Concurrently, Schema.org micro data markup is injected with highly-relevant, local business data, and content snippets, which can play a significant role in local SEO and organic search rankings.
