Renewed License Opens Safari Books Online to Military, DOD

Safari Books Online, an on-demand digital library for professionals, announced that the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) renewed its license to Safari Books Online, allowing active and retired members of the military and DOD and their families to access resources in the library. With more than 16,000 titles, the Safari Books Online library covers information technology, digital media, and business skills.

Personnel will be able to access Safari Books Online via the library system in each military branch. Users from the DOD or military can apply for free access to the service by registering at the Knowledge Portal of each military branch. Subscribers can also access content including certification guides, test preparation materials, and how-to guides.
