PureEdge Solutions Inc., a provider of automation for form-based business processes, has announced support for IBM's Lotus Workplace family of products and IBM WebSphere Portal. By integrating PureEdge's XML e-forms with these desktop and portal offerings, IBM users will now have the power to streamline their business processes through the use of XML for data integration and exchange. The integration of PureEdge technology into IBM's products is intended to offer existing and potential customers the ability to extend their current technology investment by creating an end-to-end business process management framework

PureEdge technology is based on document-centric, XML-based architecture to provide organizations with the power to manage the entire lifecycle of each business process, including creation, routing, management, and archiving. With PureEdge, users have the ability to digitally sign documents, use both ad hoc and structured routing, work remotely, move data in and out of corporate systems and store all elements of a process in one secure file.
