Apr 29, 2010

Provalis Research, a provider of text analysis software, announced the release of WordStat 6, which features enhanced analytical and visualization tools. WordStat is a flexible content analysis and text mining tool that quickly extracts themes, trends, and patterns from large collections of text data, such as customer feedback, emails, open-ended responses, interview transcripts, incident reports, patents, legal documents, blogs, and websites. It can process up to 20 million words per minute and will analyze documents in a wide variety of languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Russian, or even Arabic.

The product also features seamless integration with SimStat, a statistical data-analysis tool, and QDA Miner, a qualitative data analysis software program. The new version of WordStat introduces several useful features, such as improved linguistic resources, intuitive drag and drop dictionary editing, key phrase-based clustering and corresponding analysis, and improved visualization tools such as bubble charts, stacked bars, proximity plots, and concept maps.
