ProQuest Information and Learning has announced an extension of its exclusive distribution agreement with academic publisher Palgrave Macmillan and the addition of six new journals. European Management Review (EMR), a new journal, is among the titles added by the agreement, which covers both full-text and full page image (PDF) content. ProQuest Information and Learning, a unit of ProQuest Company, creates and publishes databases for libraries and educational institutions worldwide. The Palgrave Macmillan titles will be available in ProQuest's ABI/INFORM family of online business periodical databases, PsycINFO, General Reference databases and ProQuest Computing. The new titles will be available beginning in Q3 2004 with a one-year embargo. Free trials of ProQuest databases are available.
European Management Review is a new forum for international management research. Its editorial board contains representatives from European business schools. Contributors to the first issue, themed 'The Millennium Nexus: Strategic Management at the Cross-roads', include Henk Volberda, Stewart Clegg, David Knights, Robert Chia and High Willmott. A second issue will be published in November and the journal will be quarterly from 2005 onwards. Other titles include Development, Journal of Information Technology, Journal of International Relations and Development, Acta Politica, and Psychoanalysis, Culture and Society. The agreement includes electronic distribution as well as microfilm and fiche worldwide. EMR and Journal of International Relations and Development are new to electronic distribution.
