Philosophy Documentation Center Adds Content to EBSCO Discovery Service

Aug 16, 2011

EBSCO Publishing established an agreement with Philosophy Documentation Center that will allow users of EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS) to access scholarly philosophy content. Researchers at institutions that subscribe to both EDS and Philosophy Documentation Center will be able to search for and view the full records of content from Philosophy Documentation Center. Philosophy Documentation Center provides research materials for all levels of teaching and scholarship in disciplines that include philosophy, ethics, religious studies, and classics.

Established in 1966, Philosophy Documentation Center content comprises peer-reviewed journals, book series, conference proceedings, and research databases. Philosophy Documentation joins the 20,000 content providers and 70,000 book publishers that participate in EDS to bring more visibility to their content; its wide selection makes it a discovery selection for many libraries.
