Parlano, Inc., a provider enterprise instant messaging applications, has announced MindAlign for Microsoft Office Live Communications Server. Parlano and Microsoft, executing on the partnership announced earlier this year, have delivered a solution that is designed to extend the foundations of Live Communications Server and MindAlign to provide an enterprise-class infrastructure for deploying intelligent and persistent individual and group messaging applications.
MindAlign for Live Communications Server is intended to address the challenges resulting from the transition from real-time to non-real-time communications that occurs as processes span geographic, time, and functional boundaries. MindAlign for Live Communications Server eliminates the need for a chain of email forwards/replies, phone calls, voice-mails and other disjointed communications to close communications loops and execute processes. MindAlign for Live Communications Server includes: identity and contact management through Active Directory Server, persistent group "chat," contextual BackChat, presence detection and management, and connectivity to Microsoft Network IM Clients. Parlano's MindAlign for Microsoft Office Live Communications Server will be available on November 1, 2004.
