Ebook and audiobook distributor Overdrive announced a set of new services that will expand its digital distribution network for copyrighted digital media. In addition to new formats, the company will begin providing new streaming content services, as well as enhancements to its discovery and fulfillment processes, in 2010.

Among the new services are Content Reserve Plus, the company's global distribution platform; MIDAS 2.0, a new iteration of the company's e-commerce bookstore platform; OverDrive Reiprocal, a consolidated bookshelf service that will allow readers to access all their content through a single location, regardless of format or media style; and OverDrive Dashboard, a collection of desktop and mobile apps that will give publishers, librarians, and readers access to valuable information.
