Origin Digital, an Accenture Company, announced it has expanded its web-based Odaptor software platform with a new module that extends its capabilities to digital publishing environments. Odaptor’s added module integrates scheduling, ad management, playout, measurement, and reporting capabilities. The Odaptor platform provides a foundation to enhance content management systems, channel creation, and rights management. Users can access asset data from the Odaptor content management system to create a channel schedule, ad insertion schedule, or playlist. Odaptor collects content request data, applies any targeting rules that might apply and delivers to the user’s player of choice, a specific playlist pointing to content available on the appropriate delivery network.
