Open Text's Artesia Digital Media Group Partners With Front Porch Digital

Open Text Corporation, an independent provider of enterprise content management (ECM) software and solutions, has announced a partnership between its Artesia Digital Media Group and Front Porch Digital, a provider in Content Storage Management (CSM) solutions for the broadcast community, to offer joint customers an integrated video management and storage solution, with the ability to ingest and retrieve large video files to and from the Front Porch Digital DIVArchive through Artesia DAM. With the combined Artesia DAM and Front Porch DIVArchive solution, customers will have the ability to manage, search for, and retrieve content from their archive stores.

Open Text has also announced that its Hummingbird Connectivity division has received certification for Windows Vista from Microsoft for its family of products. Hummingbird Connectivity connects people to applications and data by providing a suite of technologies designed to help organizations integrate heterogeneous legacy infrastructures, such as UNIX or Mainframe, with Windows desktops. The company worked together with Microsoft to obtain the Certified for Windows Vista logo for Hummingbird Connectivity 2008, its next product release aimed for early summer 2007.
