Octave Software, Inc., a provider of content management solutions, has announced the appointment of Randy Wise as vice president of alliances; and the formal launch of its Alliance Program to provide partners with technical, sales, and marketing services, to enhance the value of their combined offerings. Wise will develop strategic relationships with existing partners, including Sapient, IBM, Surebridge, and Watchfire. In addition, he will identify other complementary vendors, channel partners, and service providers to improve customer satisfaction, and expand company sales channels. Before joining Octave Software, Wise served as director of western region sales for Vignette Corporation, managing both sales and partner activity within that territory.

The Octave Software Alliance Program is divided into four programs. Service Alliance Program is for Global Systems Integrators, Regional Systems Integrators, and Implementation Service Providers that deliver a full range of consulting and implementation services to enhance the customer's infrastructure and support their ebusiness objectives. Channel Alliance Program is for Value-Added Resellers and Managed Service Providers that deliver specialized expertise though a combination of solutions from multiple vendors either direct to the client site or hosted. Technology Alliance Program includes Independent Software Vendors and Platform Vendors who develop business applications and infrastructure solutions that use industry standard, open interfaces to enable integration with other applications. Affiliate Alliance Program is open to all companies and individuals that can facilitate relationships with clients to promote added value to existing investments, and identify new opportunities to meet client's business requirements through use of Octave Software solutions.
