Nielsen Announces ‘Insight Engine’ Partnership

Software developer Openwave Systems Inc. will collaborate with Nielsen to create what the two companies are calling an "insight engine." This new product will use demographics and analytics to help mobile operators analyze, profile and target audience segments. The Openwave Analytics platform will be combined with Nielsen's PRIZM consumer segmentation procedure, which records 66 demographics and behavior types.
