Nexaweb Announces OpenAjax Hub Support

Apr 06, 2007

Nexaweb Technologies Inc., a provider of a standards-based platform for building and deploying Enterprise Web 2.0 (EW2.0) applications, has announced its support for the OpenAjax Hub, a set of criteria designed to ensure the development of an industry standard of Ajax technologies, products, and applications. In addition, Nexaweb received an OpenAjax interoperability certificate, representing its commitment to defining and achieving industry support for OpenAjax conformance.

The OpenAjax Alliance, an organization dedicated to the successful adoption of open and interoperable Ajax-based web technologies, has put forth the OpenAjax Hub. The OpenAjax Hub is a small set of JavaScript technologies that address Ajax runtime interoperability requirements. One of the first organizations to join the OpenAjax Alliance, and a key contributor to various open source projects, Nexaweb provides support for the OpenAjax Hub through its Universal Client Framework (UCF)-- framework that gives application developers the flexibility to use Ajax or Java technology to deploy enterprise-class, composite business applications over the web.
