NewTek, Inc., manufacturer of video and 3D animation products, has announced VT LIVE!, an integrated production suite that offers live switching and Web streaming of up to 24 cameras or external computers. VT includes overlay titling, real-time keying, and automated clip playback, with simultaneous output to video, projector, and Web stream. Post-production capability includes High-Definition editing, HD video painting, 3D modeling, rendering, and animation. The optional Serial Digital switcher adds eight SDI inputs and assignable SDI outs.

NewTek has also announced the release of TriCaster PRO, a new, enhanced version of the portable, live presentation system. TriCaster PRO allows users to mix multiple live component cameras with pre-edited video, overlay titles, images, external computer displays, and live Web pages with simultaneous output to video, projector, and the Internet. TriCaster features include: Switching and preview of 3 Cameras; connect up to 6; iVGA network import of external computer displays (both PC and Mac); XGA Projector output; Virtual VCR and picture player (digital disk recorder); Live Web streaming and recording; Audio mixer; Titler; Hundreds of 2D and 3D transitions; Video editing; and an Optional TriCaster VM switching surface. TriCaster is now available starting at $4,995.
NewTek has also announced a new version of iVGA for Mac, a small software client that allows a presenter's screen display to be integrated into a live TriCaster presentation via Ethernet. iVGA is a software application launched on a network-connected Mac. Any display on a Mac is sent across the network as a video input into TriCaster live switcher, or, can be sent through TriCaster at full-resolution to projector. TriCaster can automatically draft every iVGA running on the LAN and select any of them as part of a live production. TriCaster and TriCaster PRO are now available starting at $4,995.
