New Social Media Player for thePlatform

Mar 05, 2010

White-label video publisher thePlatform announced a new social media player at the TV of Tomorrow 2010 show earlier this week in San Francisco. The new player is designed to enable media companies to embed and share premium video content across different social networks, while providing features to help consumers easily share their favorite clips and preserving the financial obligations of owners and advertisers.

The new social media player is incorporated into thePlatform's recent Player Development Kit 4.2, allowing businesses to compile an entire video player into a single Adobe Flash file, along with all its features, add-ins, and components. The system features out-of-the-box compatibility to services such as Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, and reddit.
