Auto-Graphics, Inc. has announced that the New Jersey State Library (NJSL) has signed an agreement to purchase the AGent Authentication and Portal modules. The New Jersey State Library has selected AGent to support and promote the state's strategic plan, "Library Visions 2005." In September, the state launched its marketing campaign "No Boundaries. No Limits. Know Your Library" to promote the excellence of New Jersey State Library services, including "on demand" information access to all New Jersey residents, available 24 hours, 7 days a week. Additionally, New Jersey residents may now access up to 25 subscription databases at once.

The New Jersey State Library has chosen the AGent Authentication and Portal Modules in an effort to further customize and expand its AGent library management system. With the purchase of the AGent Portal module, Auto-Graphics' broadcast search tool, NJSL supports remote patron access to library services.  Previous AGent modules purchased include Resource Sharing and Statistics.

AGent is Auto-Graphics' library management system that allows users to simultaneously search multiple databases, full-text repositories, the Web, and local catalogs through a single search interface, yet view results in their native result screen and format, for copyright compliance.
