NXN Software, a supplier of asset management solutions for the digital entertainment and computer graphics industries, has announced that Namco Hometek Inc. (NHI) will equip their key development teams with 65 seats of NXN alienbrain and NXN's Project Management Extension (PMX), to manage thousands of art assets and source code files throughout the development of their upcoming titles. NHI believes that a production-oriented asset management system such as NXN alienbrain will be key in mastering the challenge to repeat the success of top-selling titles such as Dead to Rights and Pac-Man World 2. In addition to version control and teamwork functionality delivered by NXN alienbrain, the Project Management Extension (PMX) allows Namco to synchronize Microsoft Project plans with real production data and provides a clear picture of the teams' progress.
