Mozy, an online data storage service from Decho Corp., added a new file-syncing feature, Stash, to its offering. Stash, currently in beta, allows users to back up and access files across their devices, from smartphones to tablets to computers.

After installing the platform on a computer, it links a local folder with Stash online. Users can add files to the local folder and access it via Mozy's website or mobile app; pictures and videos can also be uploaded to Stash from a user's cellphone or tablet. When it's linked to a computer, any changes made are synched up to the user's other devices.

Stash is available for MozyHome customers with a free 2 GB plan or a paid 50 GB or 125 GB plan; the platform runs on Microsoft Windows (XP and later) and Apple Mac OS X (10.5 Leopard and later). Stash will later come to MozyPro users.
