Source Interlink Media (SIM), LLC launched a Motor Trend channel on YouTube to provide viewers with original automotive content. SIM has scheduled eight separate shows that are expected to be uploaded and available by Feb. 17. New videos from each of the shows will be posted on a varying schedule; the company says new content will be available every day from Monday to Friday.
SIM has developed programs to create content from its portfolio of automotive media brands. The company says that the programs "cover first rides and drives and tests of the latest two- and four-wheeled machinery, as well as automotive lifestyle and documentary shows." The Motor Trend Channel is part of about 100 original-content channels that YouTube will roll out over the course of this year.
