MindHarbor, Inc., a provider of Web site and application development services has announced the launch of its "mmprove" online publication manager functionality. This new addition to the mmprove Website Content Manager is designed to allow publishers to keep their online content up-to-date without requiring a webmaster or contracted technical support. The browser-based application was specifically designed to eliminate content management bottlenecks associated with an online publication by allowing non-technical personnel to manage and update their Web-based content.
mmprove for online publications is designed to enable publishers to move content into one integrated database to manage, edit, and publish articles online. In addition, mmprove provides publishers with dynamic archiving and search functionalities so their audience has access to all of their current and past articles. As part of the installation fee, which ranges between $100-$200, MindHarbor prepares the user interfaces for its clients. The client then "leases" the software for a monthly fee of $200. MindHarbor expects to launch two additional Web-based solutions during the next four months.
