Microsoft Office Comes to iPhone

Nov 11, 2014

If you just can't get enough of making PowerPoint presentations, you will be excited to know that the full version of Microsoft Office has come to iPhones. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint apps have been available on iPad since earlier this year, but just came to iPhone last week.

Previously, iPhone users could only use a Word app if they were Microsoft 360 subscribers. The new mobile versions of Office-which includes versions for iPad and Android as well-let all users edit documents for free. In the past you could only view those documents. However, in order to access premium features, you will still need that Microsoft 360 subscription.

The free apps quickly shot to the top of the App Store charts, according to TechCrunch. Word became the top app, followed closely by its Office partners.
