MetaLINCS, a provider of Electronic Discovery software, has announced it has joined the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) Project. As a project member, MetaLINCS will work with other industry providers to develop a publicly available reference model describing the concepts and relationships that comprise the E-Discovery process, as well as provide a flexible and extensible framework for the development, selection, evaluation, and use of E-Discovery products and services.
Formed in May of this year, the Electronic Discovery Reference Model Project plans to address the lack of standards and guidelines in the new E-Discovery market. The Project's member organizations include providers of electronic discovery related products and services, law firms, and corporate counsel.
