Meredith Launches Tablet Editions Using WoodWing

WoodWing Software announced that Meredith Corporation launched three of its most popular magazine brands on the iPad using WoodWing's Tablet Publishing Solution. Interactive tablet editions of Better Homes and Gardens (BHG), Fitness, and Parents are currently available for the iPad, and Meredith plans to expand to other tablet devices, including Android devices.

Created by the same editorial and creative teams behind the brands' print issues, the three monthly tablet editions are designed to add layers of content to the magazines. BHG features recipes and interactive decorating apps, while Fitness includes workout videos and Parents exhibits virtual playrooms. All three digital magazines offer ecommerce features which link to online shopping platforms, allowing the readers to buy products featured in the tablet magazines.
