Marsteller has announced a partnership with Intelliseek, BzzAgent, Converseon, and Oddcast to form the User Generated Media Alliance (UGMA), a group of companies that have come together to provide a 360-approach to online content. The company also announced the rollout of its Digital Check-up product, designed to help companies navigate today's online channel and set a strategy to maintain positioning, stay ahead of competitors, and protect corporate reputation.
User Generated Media (UGM) is online content generated by consumers (e.g. blogs, chat rooms, forums, avatars, etc.) that is accessible to a wide range of audiences including potential customers, media, analysts, employees, and the community at large. In partnership with UGMA members, Marsteller created The Digital Check-up service offering. This customized service reviews and assesses all areas of the online channel and provides organizations with a report card and plan of action to improve their positioning in the digital world. Assessment areas include: corporate Web site audits, blog influence tracking and evaluation, search engine optimization, message monitoring, word of mouth / viral marketing, and efluentials online influencer targeting.
