Madcap Software Introduces Industry-First Authoring for Chatbots and AI with Newest Releases of Madcap Central and Madcap Flare

Together, the latest versions provide more comprehensive functionality for creating, reviewing, and delivering modern online Help, technical documentation, training content, and knowledge management centers.

MadCap Flare and MadCap Central are part of the MadCap Authoring and Management System (AMS). Combining the power of desktop authoring with the convenience of the cloud, MadCap AMS provides a complete solution to support the entire content development lifecycle. MadCap Flare offers cutting-edge technical authoring and publishing capabilities with advanced features to maximize authoring efficiency, content reuse, and multi-channel publishing. MadCap Central is the first cloud-based platform for content and project management designed specifically for the documentation industry. MadCap Flare 2019 introduces another industry first with a new built-in Micro Content Editor. Now authors have the ability to create new micro-content or tag existing content as micro-content that can be easily digested by chatbots and other machine-learning and artificial intelligence (AI)

applications. Additionally, Flare adds:

  • Functionality for publishing content directly to Zendesk, the cloud-based help desk solution used by more than 200,000 organizations worldwide

  • A new Chinese user interface to support the growing use of MadCap Flare in China
