Macromedia has announced new purchase plans for Breeze Live Web conferencing including monthly and Pay-Per-Use accounts. Teachers and staff looking for a one time or semester-long online meeting alternative may use a credit card to buy a Breeze Live service plan. Macromedia Breeze solutions provide a Web communication system that enables education users to develop and deliver collaborative real-time meetings, instructor-led classes, and professional development. Breeze Live uses Microsoft PowerPoint and Macromedia Flash Player so participants do not have to download additional software to experience the conferencing solutions. Breeze Live meetings are persistent and remain in an account for review and reuse.

Annual, monthly, and pay-per-use Breeze Live hosted Web conferencing plans are available immediately. Pricing starts at 32 cents per minute per user for pay-per-use, and $75 a month per seat for unlimited meetings available in 5- and 10-seat packages. Breeze Education Edition is a special package suited for district-wide implementations where a large audience will be authoring and participating in concurrent training courses or instructional environments. Breeze K-12 School Edition is for K-12 schools, and bundles Breeze components for use throughout an entire school (located at a single address). Scaleable options are also available to add on authors and concurrent learners. Breeze Live Service Plan is for teachers and staff looking for an entry-level plan, including a pay-per-use option.
