Local Yokel Media Expands Hyperlocal Targeting Capabilities

Local Yokel Media, a nationwide hyperlocal ad platform, has expanded its advertising targeting capabilities to include mobile, behavioral, and demographic profiling, social, geo-targeting and retargeting. Since launching in 2011, Local Yokel Media has worked with advertisers from local politicians to national retailers, helping them reach into tightly-defined target geographies.  

The resulting combination of contextual relevance and the customer's proximity to the business location leads to increases in ad performance. The Stamford, Conn.-based company is backed by funding from Connecticut Innovations, The (CT) Department of Economic and Community Development, Gold Ridge Asset Management and industry veterans such as Dave Morgan, Joe Apprendi, and Joe Zawadzki.
