Liquid Machines, Inc., a provider of Enterprise Rights Management (ERM) solutions, has released the Liquid Machines Enterprise Rights Management solution for Microsoft Windows Rights Management Services (RMS) for Windows Server 2003--delivering an Enterprise Rights Management solution to support multiple policy servers and enforce Windows RMS policies across disparate desktop and business productivity applications.

Liquid Machines support for RMS provides customers an extensible ERM platform that leverages their existing Microsoft infrastructure and investments to consistently enforce enterprise-defined RMS policies on information as it travels across applications and throughout the enterprise. Liquid Machines Document Control extends RMS policy enforcement across more than 65 applications and file formats including Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat and Reader, Microsoft Visio and Sharepoint. Liquid Machines Email Control enhances RMS with server-side policy enforcement capabilities that automatically apply protection based on corporate guidelines. Protection is enforced throughout the email lifecycle no matter where the message goes, internally or externally.

Liquid Machines Document Control is designed to extend Windows RMS policies to help enforce complete access and usage controls of content including, open, read, write, save, save as, print, print screen--as the content moves between different applications. User actions, such as distilling a rights-protected document to Adobe Acrobat, maintain the RMS policy. Liquid Machines enforces RMS protection on the derived Adobe Acrobat file while allowing reviewers to utilize Adobe's annotation and commenting features--ensuring the original content remains unchanged.

Liquid Machines Email Control is designed to enhance Windows RMS to allow enterprise administrators to define email usage and delivery rules based on user groups and roles, and message content at the server level. Enterprise-defined policies are automatically applied at the email gateway and are enforced through the e-mail lifecycle. Attachments carry the protections even when saved independently of a message. Liquid Machines Email Control enhanced integration and enforcement capabilities enable integration with archiving solutions and enterprises to systematically decrypt and re-encrypt messages at the email gateway to support content scanning, spam filters and anti-virus tools. Liquid Machines Document Control 5.0 and Liquid Machines Email Control 6.5 are available immediately.
