Lionbridge Enhances inRiver Product Information Management Connector to Fully Automate Multilingual Product Content

Mar 28, 2017

Lionbridge Technologies, Inc. announced updates to the Lionbridge connector for the inRiver product information management (PIM) platform. The connector allows businesses to seamlessly integrate Lionbridge's translation automation technology with inRiver's PIM software, enabling them to easily create ecommerce experiences for customers around the globe. The Lionbridge connector is compatible with inRiver's cloud and desktop platforms, allowing product marketing teams to manage translation projects from any location, at any time.

Effective PIM depends on managing content scattered throughout the organization and making it available to customers and partners around the world. Managing content in one language is difficult, and extending PIM to multiple languages increases complexity and poses a number of challenges. The Lionbridge connector for inRiver PIM is compatible with the latest version of inRiver and features a fully automated, single-click translation process that optimizes the practice of creating and publishing the right product content in the right language. According to Lionbridge, managing product information and translations through this efficient process gives companies up to 72% faster time-to-market, with up to 44% lower translation costs.

In other Lionbridge news, it has been named a Business Level partner in the Adobe Exchange partner program. Lionbridge onDemand for Adobe Experience Manager translates web pages, videos, graphic files and more through the Experience Manager Integration Framework. Customers with more complex needs can utilize Lionbridge onDemand Advanced for Adobe (powered by Clay Tablet), which provides enterprise-level features such as:

  • Bulk translation capabilities to automate large scale site translation
  • Enhanced dashboarding for real-time management
  • Cost code tracking for multi-departmental invoicing
  • Translation request aggregation from business users
