Element Fusion, developer of Web content management system LightCMS, announced a major expansion of the platform's e-commerce functionalities. The platform now gives users the ability to create and maintain a dynamic online presence for users who want to buy and sell online. Through the integrated online store, LightCMS provides site owners with the ability to highlight content such as blogs, forms, and photo galleries alongside products. The new e-commerce functionality gives users the ability to make changes right on the page so that businesses and designers have an easy way to manage all aspects of their website.
The features of the online store include the ability to add product information, upload product images, and create custom variants based on customer options, and the ability to search, find, fill, cancel, or refund orders. LightCMS charges a 1% transaction fee for each transaction through the ecommerce engine, or 2% for LightCMS users on the Basic plan.
The LightCMS platform is designed to simplify the task of building, monetizing, and managing websites. The full online store functionality will be available to new and existing LightCMS users on June 8th.
