Jun 02, 2006

LexisNexis U.S., a provider of information and services solutions, has announced the launch of HotDocs 2006, the latest version of its document automation software. HotDocs 2006 users will be able to customize text within a document, and retain the changes after reassembly. Other improvements include the ability to remove hidden data from documents, automatically update tables of contents and indexes, and view the template in a more readable format.

The latest version of HotDocs includes several updates for developers, including the ability to view scripting code in an outline format, and to create separate interviews for individual templates in a shared template set. HotDocs document automation software is part of the LexisNexis solutions for practice management and is integrated with Time Matters, Billing Matters, PCLaw, and Interface Software, plus Microsoft Outlook. HotDocs 2006 is currently available.
