LexisNexis Applied Discovery, a provider of electronic discovery services, has launched the Strategic Records and Information Management (sRIM) consulting group. The sRIM group is designed to fill corporations' need to minimize legal risk through predicable document retention programs.
Consultants from the sRIM group work directly with corporate counsel and IT departments to develop document retention programs that complement and enhance current operations rather than disrupting them. The group also works with law firms to help them offer their clients additional value in the form of document management and e-discovery planning services. sRIM focuses in five primary areas: Records Information Management Policies; Preparation for Litigation and Best-Practices for Response; Enterprise Record Retention and Repository Management; Preparation of IT for Policy Compliance Enforcement and Management; and Discovery Assistance.
sRIM services, along with the complete set of discovery support capabilities of Applied Discovery, are also accessible via LexisNexis Total Litigator.
